Dhaka airport

Going back a bit, Dhaka airport was more than a step down from Bangkok. Bangkok was so glittery the arrival and departure of airplanes seem to be secondary to the shopping. My primary focus at the Dhaka Airport was the mosquitoes floating around my ankles.
I also obsessed about the piles of apparently abandoned luggage, including scores of strollers. We did get our luggage, though. My bow was still perky.
Despite the decidedly down scale appearance of the Dhaka Airport, there was an impressive array of international airplanes pulled up to the gates. All except ours were from the middle east. Many Bangladeshis work as laborers in the Middle East.
