Tiger Hill

Up at 4:30 am to visit Tiger Hill for a sunrise view of numerous Himalayan peaks, including Everest. But, I forgot to tell you, the weather is lousy. We saw nada.
Oh well. A stop at a Buddhist monastery and back for breakfast.
After breakfast, we walk to and through a botanical garden, then go to a tea plantation, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and a zoo. The zoo was splendid, containing a snow leopard, black and common leopard, Himalayan Black Bear, blue sheep, red panda and a tiger that sprayed one of our group members.
